On August 3rd, 2023, Abundant Life Ministries was awarded a Grant Recipient Check from The Dominion Energy Foundation.

Abundant Life was joined by community members, city officials, and representatives from Dominion Energy for such a special occasion and the beginning of a beautiful partnership, as the Ministry was awarded a $10,000 Grant Recipient Check from The Dominion Energy Foundation.
We are thankful for Dominion Energy’s recognition of the great work being done in the community. This grant will go to support our 5th grade through one-year post-high school programs. These programs include our tutoring, mentoring, enrichment, and vocational education program.
Each of our partnerships means so much to the ministry; it shows the good stewardship and relationship-building that takes place in the community that we serve. Remarks during the ceremony were given by a current ⅝ participant who thanked Abundant Life for programs and opportunities fostering his growth as a future leader in the community.
Abundant Life Ministries is blessed to continue to breathe into the lives of community members in one of the five underserved communities in the City of Charlottesville for 27 years. One of these community members includes current Charlottesville City School Board Vice Chair, Dom Morse, who went through Abundant Life Programming as a youth.
