Dom Morse was born and raised in Charlottesville and currently serves as Vocational Trades (V-Trades) Coordinator and Interim COO. As a young person, Dom experienced the transformative impact the ministry had on him and his peers. In addition to participating in the 5/8 Young Men’s Bible Studies, two of Dom’s most impactful experiences were using power tools to reframe the “Yellow House” and engaging in policy advocacy by writing to a Virginia delegate.
The early seeds planted at Abundant Life led Dom to serve for fifteen years in education, the last eight in Career and Technical Education. He was recognized as the 2020 CBIC Educator of the Year while working at Community Lab School. Dom won a seat on the Charlottesville City School Board in 2021, and served as Vice-Chair for two years of his four-year term. He also served as Chair of the CATEC Board during Charlottesville City Schools’ full acquisition of CATEC. These cumulative experiences brought Dom back to Abundant Life in 2025 to engage in Christian Community Development as a means of carrying out the Great Commission.
