Abundant Life welcomes new Program Director Tammy Pendleton

May 7, 2021 | Written by Dylan Rosenthal

Abundant Life is excited to announce the hiring of Tammy Pendleton as our new Program Director! She brings with her 30 years of experience in financial management, Human Resources, and Career Services. As Program Director, Tammy will oversee Abundant Life’s programs and ensure they are fulfilling the organization’s mission and vision. She will also support program staff and ensure programs are operating on budget. She will oversee program development and evaluation, as well.

“It has been my desire to connect with an organization that would allow me to use my faith, life experiences and education to empower individuals and groups to grow and be successful.”

On why the Program Director role at Abundant Life is such a great fit for her, Tammy explained:  “It has been my desire to connect with an organization that would allow me to use my faith, life experiences and education to empower individuals and groups to grow and be successful. Additionally, it was my hope to genuinely touch lives and leave a positive footprint on God’s people. Abundant Life provides me with these opportunities. Not only have I been able to pour into others, I have been blessed by the relationships I am building with the staff, community members and our board. I consider my role with Abundant Life a gift and I intend to share what God has given me with the neighborhood and my colleagues in the ministry.”

More about Tammy

As a member of the faith community, Tammy has facilitated and mentored individuals and groups in spiritual growth and personal and family care. It is her desire to continue to provide that support and the platform for individuals to become their best self mentally, physically and spiritually. Tammy attended Liberty University where she earned a B.S. in Psychology and an M.A. in Human Services Counseling. She and her husband reside in Louisa county. When not working, she enjoys crafting and spending time with her family and friends.

Please say hello when you see Tammy in the neighborhood!
