Furthering our Mission with Grant Funding from Charlottesville Area Community Foundation

February 5, 2026 | Written by Faith Kelley

Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries is awarded grant funding from Charlottesville Area Community Foundation to further its mission.

Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries is a 30-year-old neighborhood-based non-profit with a mission of spreading God’s love through the Prospect Avenue Community through wholistic programming geared towards community empowerment.

As a faith-based organization, Abundant Life Ministries is where faith meets work. As listening to the community is one of Abundant Life’s core values, all of the ministry’s initiatives have been curated specifically for the community in its footprint.

This generous grant funding from CAFC will, in part, strengthen Abundant Life’s partnership with its partners and will support the organization’s nine active programs, which include tutoring programs through a partnership with Charlottesville City Schools, mentorship programs, and a vocational trades program.
