In light of the recent spread of COVID-19, and out of great concern for broader public health, we are sorry to announce that Abundant Madness 2020 has been canceled. Thank you to all who have worked tirelessly to organize or otherwise support this event. While there are many things that remain unknown about the trajectory of the current situation, we first and foremost want to prioritize the health of our community and steward our roles, work, and resources responsibly.
We have refunded those who had already bought tickets (unless they told us to keep the money as a donation – thank you!). We asked businesses that had donated prizes whether we should return the donation, keep it for next year, or if appropriate, give it to a family in need. Because they never received proper public recognition for their generosity, we have listed them below. We recognize this is a trying time for many businesses; please support them when you are able!
