We are excited to announce the addition of Bruce Boling to our staff as the new Young Men’s Program Coordinator! His responsibilities include overseeing the 5/8 Club and STRIVE as well as middle school tutoring with Young Women’s Program Coordinator Sonia Montalvo. He holds an Associate Degree from the New Life Community School of Ministry Bible Institute. Bruce is also the pastor of Columbia Baptist Church, located in Columbia, Va. He has been a member of the 100 Black Men of Central Virginia since 2011. Bruce loves to preach and teach GOD’S word and loves his family.
Of his new job, Bruce says: “I am excited to be working with Abundant Life here in Charlottesville, Va. It is a pleasure to have a job doing ministry work serving people here in the Prospect area. I have come to learn that nothing happens by coincidence. I believe the LORD opened the door for me to work with such a great organization, where I believe that I can use my skill set, and my years of working with children, to help meet the Abundant Life mission as we walk alongside our neighbors.”
